Review results and plan for challenges ahead. This was the motto of the meeting promoted by Vipal Europe, which took place in Valencia, Spain. The meeting was attended by the entire team from the company’s European branch, including the technical, commercial, administrative, financial, customer service and logistics areas. The new member of the commercial team, Thomas Giermann, and Vipal’s International Business Commercial Manager, Gilson Dugno, also participated.
“Over the three days of the meeting, it was possible to review the numbers from the previous period, in addition to our challenges for 2023”, reports Frederico Schmidt, General Manager of Vipal in Europe. The occasion also served to celebrate the achievements of the last year, in addition to reinforcing strategies for the future. “We planned several actions for 2023, when Vipal completes 50 years, in addition to training and strengthening our CRM system to further improve our services to customers and we reviewed some strategies to consolidate the Vipal brand in the market”, completes Schmidt.
One of Vipal Europe's recent moves was the hiring of Thomas Giermann, as Sales Representative in the DACH region, which covers Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The intention is to strengthen the branch's commercial position in a strategic region for Vipal's business on the European continent.
Another change, which took place in 2022, was the inclusion of the entire African territory in the Vipal Europe umbrella, following a movement that had started in 2021, when the branch returned to respond commercially for the Middle East and North Africa region. Vipal's Commercial Manager, Fabricio Nedeff, assesses this resumption as extremely positive, given that the branch has a deep knowledge of these markets and sees potential for growth and expansion of commercial relations with new customers in these countries.
“During the meeting, we also addressed strategies to expand the company's participation in the markets for retreading and repairing tyres in the main African markets, always offering the best solutions from our broad portfolio of products, machinery and services,” said Nedeff.
Meanwhile, Mr. Gilson Dugno celebrated his participation in the meeting as a good opportunity to share important points of the company's global vision with the European branch team. “We were able to transmit the strategic alignment foreseen for all the subsidiaries and local objectives and needs for us to continue growing in Europe”, highlighted Dugno.
