The technical and commercial team of Vipal’s European subsidiary continues to grow and now counts on the 40-plus years of market experience of Enrico Centi, the company’s new commercial consultant for the Italian market. Born in Rome, Centi is a specialist in the tyre retreading segment, processes and machines in this sector.
“I first felt the smell of rubber when I was ten years old with my father, who was a tyre salesman,” recalls Centi, who began working in the industry in 1979, always in the tyre retreading segment, for a total of 43 years. “Now, it’s a new beginning. I am very proud to become part of the Vipal family, an important multinational company in the sector,” he says.
According to Frederico Schmidt, General Manager for Vipal in Europe, Enrico Centi’s trajectory needs no introduction in Italy, as his name is well known in the sector. “He joins our team to help us create a new identity for the Vipal brand in the Italian market and add even more value to the company’s ability to offer a full solution for tyre retreading, combining quality, and a wide range of products and services, which makes us a benchmark in this segment of activity,” highlights Schmidt.
In addition to being responsible for supporting, analysing and developing relationships with new customers in Italy, Centi will be the bridge between the commercial and technical teams, the fleet, and the entire portfolio of products and machines that Vipal has to offer bringing a a full solution to the market. “Our next steps together are towards the development of an innovative and efficient business model, capable of delivering to retreaders everything they need to develop their activities,” announces Gilson Dugno, International Sales Manager at Vipal.
According to Schmidt, the idea is to replicate, based on this new business model created for the Italian market, a series of changes in the brand’s attitude throughout Europe. “In other words, our plan is to go further, and we believe that, very soon, we will have other news to announce to the market,” he highlights.
Currently, Italy is the third largest market for our operations in Europe. “Our expectation for the future is to continue increasing our share in Italy, which is one of the most important markets on the continent. We aim to provide our esteemed customers with comprehensive and quality service, along with the best business solutions for everyone,” states Fabricio Nedeff, Commercial Manager for Vipal in Europe.
