To commemorate this milestone, Vipal awarded NAS a commemorative plaque.  

To mark this special occasion, the International Sales Manager, Gilson Dugno, along with General Manager of Vipal in Europe, Frederico Schmidt, and Commercial Manager of the European branch, Fabricio Nedeff, travelled to the city of Dar Es Salaam to present the plaque to NAS´s COO (Chief Operating Officer), Prakash Shenoy, on March 5th.

NAS consolidates Vipal's presence in Tanzania, contributing significantly to our development and trajectory,” highlights Dugno, emphasizing NAS's preference for the Vipamold line of precured treads. 

A partner of the company since 2008, NAS Tyre Services leads the tyre retreading solutions market in Tanzania, operating in the cargo, transport, passenger, mining, and agricultural vehicle segments. “At NAS, we are dedicated to the pursuit of quality excellence, and we believe that Vipal is the ideal partner to support our competitive edge in the market,” says Prakash Shenoy. 

Currently producing around 30,000 retreaded tyres annually at its two facilities in Dar Es Salaam and Arusha, NAS is expanding its operations into Congo, focusing on Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre repairs. 

Vipal representatives also visited South Africa, Mozambique, and Kenya as part of the company's efforts to expand its commercial presence on the African continent and consolidate its position as a benchmark for excellence in the market. “This is a fast-growing market, and Vipal is fully equipped to serve it with the same excellence that is already recognised both in Brazil and abroad,” guarantees Nedeff, Commercial Manager for the European branch.
