Spanish retreader acquires Vipal's first machine in Europe

Vipal Rubber stands out for the quality of its products and services. In the same way, the tyre retreading equipment produced by Vipal Machinery has been expanding its recognition and continues to conquer new markets. In November, Recauchutados Muralla SA (Remusa) acquired Vipal's first machine on the European continent. The company invested in a VOC 760 Extruder, which has already been installed at the retreader's headquarters, located in Ávila, Spain.

With more than 30 years of partnership, Remusa becomes the first European retreader to rely on the efficiency of a Vipal Machinery equipment. The VOC 760 ensures better application of rubber in the retreading process of commercial tyres, also improving the application of raw materials. One of the company's partners, Mr. Enrique Jimenez Sanchez, showed great satisfaction with the acquisition of the machine. “We believe it is the right time to expand our production capacity. We evaluated and confirmed this equipment is the best available in Europe. We are sure that it will bring us savings, more agility and excellent results for our products”, highlights Mr. Jimenez.

The General Manager of Vipal Europe, Frederico Schmidt, says it was the first of many machines the company intends to install in Europe. “We are very happy the first sale was made to Remusa, a so special partner and identified with Vipal. With this investment, the client will enhance its productivity and quality, which today is a requirement in a highly competitive market as the European one”, he highlights. “In addition, they will have significant time reduction and raw materials savings, in line with what all companies seek: production optimization with a high quality standard. Remusa decided to take this step forward and made an excellent acquisition to improve its results through the use of VOC 760”, concludes Schmidt.

In addition to this machine, it is possible to find others produced by Vipal in retreading plants in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, El Salvador, the United States and New Zealand. The Director of International Business at Vipal Rubber, Leandro Rigon, emphasizes the importance of entering an important and competitive market such as Europe. “Vipal Machinery employs in its engineering all the technical and technological capacity that Vipal Rubbers adds over its 47 years. Thus, we will continue to invest in expanding our equipment and business portfolio in the global market”, he says.
