Vipal Rubber, through its representatives from the subsidiary in the United States, recently took part in the Off-the-Road (OTR) Tire Conference in Las Vegas, and the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) annual meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition, in New Orleans, USA. The goal of being present at two important events in the industry, one focused on the OTR segment and the other on fleets, was to consolidate the brand's presence in the local market and expand networking, getting closer to current customers and prospecting for new commercial partnerships in the North American territory.

The OTR Conference, hosted by the Tire Industry Association (TIA), is the premier event for the global earthmover and construction tire industries. This year's conference attracted over 500 people from 38 states and 14 countries, including tire manufacturers, suppliers, retreaders and dealers who provide services to the world's biggest tire manufacturers.

“We participate in the OTR Conference every year because it is an event that brings us closer to retreaders, who are our direct customers”, highlights Gabriel Fuma, Commercial Manager at Vipal in the United States. In addition to him, Antonio Brito, Manager at Vipal in North and Central America, Leandro Rigon, International Business Director at Vipal Rubber, and other members of the subsidiary's technical and commercial team were present at the event.

The TMC annual meeting is regarded as the main technical conference in North America for trucks. It is aimed at fleet professionals, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers of road freight transport parts and components. “It’s a great opportunity to get closer to fleet owners and managers because we have the chance to present our solutions in products and services and strengthen the benefits of retreading tires, which range from reducing operational costs in fleets to preserving the environment”, says Fuma.

Operating in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean for almost 30 years, the subsidiary in the United States was Vipal's first established outside Brazil. In order to consolidate the brand among retreaders and fleet owners in the North American market, the high quality and complete portfolio of Vipal products already well-known worldwide, the subsidiary works to serve retreaders with everything they need in solutions for the retreading segment. To ensure efficient operations, Vipal relies on its warehouse in Miami , FL.
